Samsung is making the most of the success of its Galaxy S25 series by extending it to include a new device — Galaxy S25 FE. It will come with One UI 8 and plenty of Galaxy AI features.

The company launched the original Galaxy S25 series in January and then extended it to add Galaxy S25 Edge in May, and now comes the “fan edition”.

The new phone features AI editing tools like Generative Edit and Instant Slow-mo, while an upgraded 12MP front-facing camera powered by the AI-powered ProVisual Engine introduces an enhanced selfie experience.

Samsung is offering a 4,900mAh battery and a more than 10 per cent larger vapor chamber to ensure responsive performance with 45W wired charging.

Jay Kim, executive vice-president and head of the customer experience office, Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, said: “Galaxy S25 FE plays an important role as a gateway into the broader Galaxy AI ecosystem, making these experiences more attainable for a wider range of users. With expanded personalized AI experiences and AI-powered photography and editing tools, Galaxy S25 FE empowers more people to bring greater convenience and creativity into their everyday lives.”

There are several AI-rich features. Gemini Live allows real-time visual conversations enhanced with multimodal AI, enabling the device to see what users see and making it easy to ask contextual questions. If you need help deciding what to pack for your next trip, just point your camera at two outfits and ask: “Which outfit is better for the weather in Seoul?”

There is also the Now Bar that offers helpful information on the lock screen. It can even be customized to display live notifications, music, modes and routines, and more. Now Brief provides personalized daily updates, including traffic, reminders, calendar events, and fitness summaries.

With Circle to Search with Google, gaming tips appear exactly when and where you need them. Just circle an item or challenge on screen to access tips and tactics — all in a floating view that keeps your gameplay uninterrupted.

To ensure there is a secure environment, the phone comes with Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP) technology that creates encrypted, app-specific storage environments within the device’s secure storage area, ensuring that each app can access only its own sensitive information. KEEP supports Galaxy’s Personal Data Engine (PDE) to keep user data and preferences entirely on-device and secured by Knox Vault.

Apart from that, the 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate offers smooth, immersive visuals, while a newly enhanced Armor Aluminum frame provides improved durability and a more refined finish.

The company has also unveiled Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S11, both flagship products. It’s a sign that the tablet market continues to grow.

Powered by the latest Galaxy AI, now enhanced by One UI 8 and new multimodal capabilities, Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is the thinnest Galaxy Tab to date. Yes, Samsung is trying to make all its devices slimmer. Look at the Galaxy S25 Edge!

With upgraded Samsung DeX and a redesigned S Pen, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra supports multitasking and seamless workflows, while also enabling creative expression in a portable form.

The latest Samsung DeX upgrades include Extended Mode, which transforms Galaxy Tab S11 and an external monitor into a dual-screen setup. It runs Samsung DeX across both screens simultaneously, so users can drag and drop apps between displays or reference a document on one screen while presenting on the other. Also new to Samsung DeX, users can now create up to four separate, customised workspaces for different needs.

The Galaxy Tab S11 series presents an enhanced 3nm processor, offering faster processing, smoother multitasking and more responsive AI features. Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra boasts performance improvements of 33 per cent in NPU, 24 per cent in CPU and 27 per cent in GPU.
