Employees of Incab Industries Limited met here on Sunday and decided to stake claim for their outstanding dues with the liquidator.

Sources said the claim forms were distributed at the Cable Welfare Association Hall on Sunday. Employees had to pay Rs 100 per form.

The form along with the documents supporting their claims is required to be sent to Shashi Agarwal, the liquidator in Calcutta. March 8 is the last date for submission of claims by all creditors, including the employees.

Assistant secretary of Incab Employees Association Aloke Sen told The Telegraph over phone from Calcutta that they would challenge the liquidation order passed by the Calcutta-bench of National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) at the Supreme Court.

“We are discussing the nitty-gritty with the other unions. An application challenging the liquidation order would be filed soon at the apex court,” said Sen.

Company sources said representatives of liquidator Shashi Agarwal, who had visited Jamshedpur last week, had been to Nishant Vihar in Adityapur and Cable House in Incab Township, to ask the current occupants to vacate the premises as the liquidation order has already been passed by the NCLT, the quasi-judicial body.

Entry of anyone inside the Jamshedpur plant and offices is prohibited. Sources said the employees would meet again on Monday to decide on the next course of action.
