Calcutta: Having got back to their winning ways after two consecutive reversals, Bengaluru FC (BFC) will eye full points when they take on defending champions ATK in an ISL IV clash at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore on Sunday.

Chennaiyin FC and Jamshedpur FC rocked BFC citadel last month winning 2-1 and 1-0 respectively before the Blues steadied their ship in Kochi with a 3-1 verdict over Kerala Blasters riding Venezuelan Miku's second-half brace and Sunil Chetri's opener from the spot.

Not only did they end 2017 on a high, the Albert Roca-coached side jumped to third spot with the much-needed victory.

The hosts are placed third on the standings with 15 points from five wins in eight games, while ATK are seventh with nine points following two wins.

The game will probably be overshadowed by reports that ATK's star striker Robbie Keane has courted interest from his former club Wolverhampton Wanderers - where he shot to stardom. Wolves are eyeing promotion to the Premier League.

"Keane is the right person to answer this," ATK assistant coach Bastab Roy said, while affirming that the 'entire team' has travelled to Bangalore.

BFC have taken to the ISL IV like ducks to water. The transition from the I-League has been seamless and top spot is at stake for them. A victory against ATK will take them two points clear of FC Pune City, who have played a match more.

Albert Roca hinted that he may not chop and change his team. "Our performance has been good and it is difficult to change the team when that happens. That said, everybody has to be alert and together. But I don't like to make too many changes and we are ready for everything," the Spaniard said.

Match starts: 8 pm
