Karachi: Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul Haq has said that he had set no deadline for retiring from the longer format and would review his future after the series against England in the United Arab Emirates.
“I have made no plans at this time, but I will review my future and what I should do only after the series against England,” Misbah said.
Meanwhile, Fawad Alam’s fading Test career was revived after Pakistan recalled the left-handed batsman for the three-match Test series against England, starting next month in the United Arab Emirates.
Fawad, 29, whose Test career was abruptly halted after playing just three Tests, was the only surprise selection in the 15-member squad as the national selectors also recalled left-arm pacer Junaid Khan.
