IFA in spot again
Hot on the heels of the IFA Shield final fiasco, the IFA is now embroiled in another controversy over allowing East Bengal's Rajiv Ahmed to take the field despite his second booking in the under-19 National League final last Tuesday.
AIFF secretary Albert Colaco has already sought an explanation from the IFA, and the association joint secretary said: 'We have asked match commissioner Bikash Mukherjee (of the first semi-final between East Bengal and JCT)about the incident. On getting his report, we'll rally it to the AIFF.'
The Indian sub-juniors had lodged a protest with the match commissioner.
