ATK Mohun Bagan are eager to get back to winning ways, after losing points in the last two games, when they lock horns with FC Goa in the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Nehru Stadium in Fatorda on Wednesday.

More importantly, they slipped from the pole position in the league table. But that does not worry ATK Bagan coach Antonio Lopez Habas.

“There is a long way (to go in this season). Obviously, we don’t want to lose but we have many injury problems. The players need to recover before we can expect them to perform,” the coach said.

ATK Bagan are third on the table now with 10 points.

“We need some more time. Our focus will always be to win matches,” the Spanish coach said.

ATK Bagan are creating chances but the rate of conversion remains a concern. Roy Krishna and Manvir Singh have been on target but Antonio had said earlier that they need more scorers.

On the other hand, FC Goa are cautious. “All their players are quality players,” coach Juan Ferrando said.
