Eklakh, Sayak in U-22 team
Syed Eklakh Ahmed and Sayak Ghosh were drafted in in place of Manoj Tewari and Asok Dinda in the under-22 Bengal squad for Col. C. K. Naidu knockout match against Uttar Pradesh starting Saturday. Both Tewari and Dinda have been inducted in the Ranji Trophy squad. The squad leaves for Lucknow on Wednesday.

Rohan to lead
Rohan Banerjee will lead the 14-member under-17 Bengal squad for the Vijay Merchant Trophy match against Tripura, in Agartala commencing on Thursday. The squad will leave for Agartala on Tuesday.

Olympian dead
Former Olympian cyclist Netai Chand Bysack passed away on Monday morning, following a cardiac arrest. He was 84. Bysack represented the country in the 1948 and 1952 Olympics and in the first Asian Games in 1951.
