Govinda Sharma is one such big name in the sports domain in Basketball and has come a long way in establishing his name in the said sport. He was inclined towards this sport but was engaged in his top paying jobs in the corporate industry. He worked with different multinational companies before he gave up his career in this domain. He resigned from the highly paid job and then got the training from Singapore to win big in this domain. He gave up the job and then got trained in the Fiba 3x3 basketball format, getting the certification for the same.

This helped him to be the part of several big-time teams winning several tournaments in a big way. After playing basketball in the Fiba 3x3 basketball format, he went on to become a coach. He has been the part of several big-time teams both in India and abroad helping them win different tournaments. In the NBA basketball school, he was part of the NBA league while in India, he helped the state and national teams to win different cups and tournaments in 2019 and before. Being an ardent lover of this sport, he also has his own sports academy called KAGA Basketball Academy, which has its presence in Delhi, Noida and now in Siliguri.

Being from the North East, he is back to Siliguri and he is leaving no stone unturned to prove his skills there. He is now training the players in Fiba 3x3 basketball format and wants to promote it all across the country, making it popular for the players inclined towards this sport.

He has also formed an NGO known as Sab Khelo Sports Foundation. In this, he is helping the handicap basketball players play the game on wheelchairs. Under his NGO, he is also training his kids from the downtrodden and local communities without any money thus serving people in a big way in this community.
