Four Indians qualify

New Delhi: Four Indian athletes, including one woman, have qualified for the 2006 Winter Olympic Games to be held in Turin, the Winter Games Federation of India said on Tuesday.

Siva Kesavan (luge), Hira Lal, Neha Ahuja (alpine ski) and Gupta Bahadur Gurung (cross country ski) have qualified, while some other athletes have till December this year to make the cut.

Kesavan had qualified as early as January, while Hira and Ahuja made the cut during an international meet in Hokaido, Japan. Gurung has received a wild card.
