Puri: Imran Khan, who got discharged from the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital on Saturday afternoon, has been advised “six weeks” rest.

Pakistan’s World Cup-winning captain, who has been in politics from around 1996, underwent emergency surgery for an intestinal obstruction last Monday.

“It’s a matter of relief for all of us that Imran is now at home... As things stand, doctors have advised him rest for six weeks,” Imran’s closest friend told The Telegraph from Lahore, on Sunday.
