Bhubaneswar, Feb. 10: Odissi is all set to cast its spell in neighbouring Chhattisgarh.

The state cultural department of Chhattisgarh is hosting a two-day Odissi fest on the occasion of Saraswati Puja, which will begin from Friday. Titled Bharatam Nrityanjali, the Odissi recitals will take place at the Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum in Raipur.

Odissi dancers from across the country will feature in the fest. Niranjan Rout, Dipti Mishra, Minkahi Behera and Suhagnalini Das from Bhubaneswar, Kavita Dwivedy from New Delhi, Sangita Dash from Pondicherry, and Purnashree Raut and Lucky Prajna Pratisthita Mohanty from Raipur will perform at the event.
