Bhubaneswar, June 22: The CBI today conducted raids at the residences of a former land settlement officer in connection with a land scam in Andharua on the outskirts of the city and seized several incriminating documents.

CBI sleuths said they conducted raids at the Dumduma residence of retired assistant settlement officer Sridhar Mishra, 61.

His parental house at Tangi in Cuttack was also raided.

“After we found his involvement in helping a man in usurping a valuable patch of government land at Andharua, we searched his houses today to get related documents. We have seized some papers related to this scam,” said a CBI official.
