Participants of a tattoo-making event show their inked wrists in Bhubaneswer.
Tattoo artists in the city came together to host an event titled Mystery Canvas. Explaining the concept, artist Om Acharya, said: "The artist didn't know who the client was and the one who got inked didn't know the artist either. The artist had the liberty to ink anything out of his choice."
All the tattoos were made to mark the 70th Independence Day. Apart from Acharya, two other tattoo artists, Niloy Das and Amin Sultan, also took part in the event. About 70 tattoos were inked during the two-day event.
"It was a fun affair. One has to have faith in the artist," said Madhumay Mallik, who got a tattoo at the event.
