KISS students take part in an event to celebrate Constitution Day in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
The event saw several luminaries take part, including Justice Dalveer Bhandari, who was recently re-elected as a judge at the International Court of Justice, The Hague.
“Education is a universal human right,” Justice Bhandari said. “Education has a great contribution in social education, it is a special manifestation of human beings. A person without education is similar to an animal. Education can eradicate poverty.”
Justice Antonio Augusto Cancado Trindade, another judge at The Hague, said: “You have here a unique opportunity in education which is very important to your life so as to seek to understand the world surrounding us and the world where we live.”
A seminar on “International Commercial Arbitration: A Boost for World Trade” was organised by KIIT School of Law, where experts deliberated on aspects of world trade and the importance of international commercial arbitration.
