Writers’ meet:

The state-level annual session of the Sadou Asam Lekhika Samaroh Samiti will be held at Chabua in Dibrugarh district on January 28-30. A host of literary activities, including a history conference, poetry sessions and book releases, will be held on the occasion. The session will be attended by litterateur Mamoni Raisom Goswami and academician Anima Guha.

Anwesha, an NGO, has organised a book exhibition for students at Jawaharlal Nehru Sishu Vidyalaya, Rangiya, from January 18.

A three-day international conference on organic food, organised by the Centre for Agriculture and Rural Development, will be held at Barapani, Meghalaya, from February 15.

The seventh all-Assam rock climbing workshop and adventure sport, organised by Anand Academy Adventure Foundation, will be held in Guwahati, Hajo and Barama from January 16 to 22.

one-act play:

The 25th Jyotirupa Northeast one-act play competition and Kishore Thakuria memorial mono-acting competition will be held from February 15.

Refresher course:
