music contest:
As a tribute to the Bhayya Mama Comedy Group, an all-Assam lok sangeet contest under 12 sections is being organised by the Sangyukta Lok Sankskriti Kristi Vikash Sangha on August 21, 22 and 23 at the Lakshminath Barua Sadan near District Library, Guwahati. Interested participants can contact sangha members at the Sadan. A dance contest among children will also be organised.

All-India Chinmaya Yuva Kendra is organising a national-level quiz competition on Awakening Indians to India for students between 15 and 21 years from September 2003 to January 2004.
