Cricket tourney

Guwahati: City Cricket Coaching Centre, Dispur will organise the 4th All-Assam Arup Hazarika (under-15) Inter-school Cricket Tournament at Dispur parade ground from Saturday. Fifteen teams have confirmed their participation for the tournament. KVK Maligaon will take on Godwins School while Little Flower will play Pranab Vidyapith on the first day.

Selection

Guwahati: A trial camp to select Kamrup (Metro) under-16 district school team for the inter-district school swimming championship, will be held at Bimala Prasad Chaliha swimming pool on July 15. The inter-district tournament will be held in Jorhat from July 21 to 23.

Coaching camp

Guwahati: Dolphin Swimming and Training Centre will conduct a summer coaching camp at Japorigog pool here from July 1. Special training on swimming will be provided to school students at the camp from 8am to 9am.

Karate trial

Guwahati: A karate trial to pick Kamrup (Metro) under-16 district school team for the inter-dsitrict school karate tournament at Tinsukia, will be held on Sunday at Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan indoor stadium here.
