Shillong, May 6: Schools in the state capital have showed impressive results in the ICSE and ISC examinations, whose results were declared today.
Rishav Das of St Edmund's School scored 96.8 per cent in the ICSE. At least 118 students had appeared for the ICSE from St Edmund's this year and 116 of them were awarded with pass certificates.
Pine Mount School secured hundred per cent result both in the ICSE and ISC exams. There were 81 students who appeared for the ICSE and 58 for the ISC examinations. Daphiaijingshai Kharwanlang, with 95.5 per cent, emerged as the topper in the ICSE while Sasanbha Lyttan with 97.75 per cent topped ISC (humanities).
Sudakshina Bhattacharjee of Loreto Convent topped the school with 95 per cent. While 84 students appeared for the exam, 83 of them were awarded pass certificates.
Similarly, Meghalaya Police Public School (MPPS) saw all its 44 students in the ICSE exams securing pass certificates, and Oracle W. Shylla, who secured 90.6 per cent, topped the school.
Out of 17 students of Shillong Public School who appeared for the examination, 16 secured a pass certificate. Stevenson Langstieh, with 82 per cent, was the school topper.
Sanskriti The Gurukul in Guwahati, delivered an impressive performance with Divasjyoti Parashar topping the ICSE with 98 per cent. Parashar secured 100 per cent in mathematics and computer application.
