Meghalaya home minister H.D.R. Lyngdoh has urged the Prasar Bharati to set up radio stations in border areas. Inaugurating a training programme for the All India Radio and Doordarshan, Lyngdoh said news on Indian current affairs was not reaching the border areas in Meghalaya and the people were wondering if they were not Indians or living outside the country.
