Union minister for shipping, road transport and highways T.R. Baalu has agreed to reconsider Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi?s request to allow Dispur to execute road development projects in the state. Gogoi, who is in Delhi, told Baalu that the project, called Special Accelerated Road Development in North Eastern Region, should not be given to the Border Roads Organisation for execution.
