Kokrajhar: The Dogra Cup Inter-Village Cricket Tournament, organised by the 15 Dogra Regiment of the army’s Red Horns division, began today at U.N. Brahma College ground at Kajalgaon in Chirang district on Thursday. Basugaon Cricket Association defeated Kwaramdon Club, Dhaligaon, by six wickets in the opener. Surjit of Basugaon Cricket Association topscored with 43 runs and Dipan of Basugaon Cricket Association took three wickets.

Guwahati: Shishu Niketan defeated Faculty High School by eight runs in a match of the 1st White Feather inter-school under-14 cricket tournament held in memory of Anisul Haque (Red) at Iddgah field, Machkhowa, here on Thursday. Faculty were restricted to 181 for four in 20 overs after Shishu Niketan made 189 for seven. Man of the Match Piyush Rajput of Shishu Niketan made 88 off 28 balls.

Santipur made 162 in 48.2 overs while Latasil were bundled out for 92 in 28.3 overs in the first innings. The meet is being organised by River Rine Cricket Coaching Centre.
