Fire at museum
Guwahati, March 18: A fire charred all the 11 model huts of different indigenous communities at the Northeast Tribal Museum and Cultural Centre at Nazirakhat in Kamrup (metro) this afternoon.
Sources said the fire broke out at 2.30pm at a hut and soon spread to the others. Property worth around Rs 1.5 crore has been damaged in the fire the cause of which is yet unknown. The museum was inaugurated by chief minister Tarun Gogoi in February last year.

Aizawl (PTI): President Pranab Mukherjee will visit Mizoram on April 9 and will leave the next day, an official statement said on Wednesday.

Health camps
