Bearded spectacle

The Kamakhya temple atop Nilachal Hills in Guwahati is teeming with pilgrims who have converged from all over the country to attend the annual Ambubachi mela, which will begin on Wednesday. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the safety of pilgrims. On the eve of the mela, both governor P.B. Acharya and chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal wished the people of the state.
