Hansal Mehta’s ‘Scoop’ finally has a release date

The thriller will premiere on Netflix next month

Hansal Mehta’s highly anticipated thriller series, Scoop, now has a release date, and the show will begin streaming on Netflix from June 2.

Starring Karishma Tanna, Zeeshan Ayyub, Harman Baweja and Deven Bhojani, the show is an adaptation of Jigna Vora’s critically acclaimed book, Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison, which talks about her experiences of going from crime reporting to being arrested for murder, surviving prison, and finally being acquitted of all charges. The show will explore India’s murky prison system, its criminal underbelly, and how convicted names can sometimes just be scapegoats. We can’t wait to dive into Vora’s rich story, this time on a visual medium.
