Kaushik Sen and Churni Ganguly are returning in Kaushik Ganguly’s Ardhangini, and the trailer hints at a complex, layered examination of relationships. The duo had also been cast in Ganguly’s last, Kaberi Antardhan.

Also starring Jaya Ahsan, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Lily Chakraborty and Ganguly himself, Ardhangini follows the friction between two women in a man’s life, his past and his present lover. There is also a nuanced exploration of past connections, and whether they are ever truly severed. The film will give us its take on love and desire when it releases on June 2.
