Anne Hathaway is returning to Genovia!
The actress confirmed that ‘Princess Diaries 3’ is in development!

Two decades after she last donned the moniker of Mia
Thermopolis, the heir apparent to the royal throne of Genovia, Anne Hathaway is
returning for a revival of the much loved Princess Diaries franchise.
The actress shared an Instagram reel, voicing the iconic ‘Shut Up!’ dialogue
from them, before going on to say it a third time, followed by a headline
stating that work is underway on a third film, with Hathaway working with
director Adele Lim on the project. Based on an unassuming teenager’s accession
to royalty, we hope the new film retains the innocence and warmth of the
franchise!
The announcement comes soon after updates of a sequel for
Hathway’s The Devil Wears Prada, where she is expected to return
alongside Meryl Streep. Excited?
