‘Barbie’ hype reaches Burj Khalifa

A giant walking Barbie has been installed beside the tallest tower in the world

It is safe to say that the past weekend has seen the world Barbie-fied, but of late, no cultural revolution is recognised as a phenomenon without the validation of the Burj Khalifa.

The world’s tallest tower joined the cinematic party, with a huge Barbie installation right beside it that almost matches in size, and definitely in spectacle. The Barbie figurine seems almost lifelike, as she walks out of the quintessential pink box, and strikes her iconic pose.

The installation is just one more feather in the cap of the Greta Gerwig film, which is globally winning hearts for bringing Barbie Land to life!
