Studio99, the Delhi-based unisex salon chain, opened its first franchise in Kolkata at Kasba. Spread across 2,000sq ft and two floors, the salon space is divided into five workstations for hair services, one pedicure and manicure station with massager, two facial rooms, one make-up room and one VIP room for taking salon services in private.
“This is my first venture into the beauty business. Studio99 as a brand is known for its premium services and we wanted to bring that to Kolkata. We wanted to give premium services at affordable prices. We use only premium products for all our services,” said Shameena Begum , franchise owner, Studio99.

The interior is done up in pretty shades of pink, white and gold. Comfortable sitting and soothing tones add to the relaxed ambience. “We deliberately kept the interiors as spacious as possible. We wanted our customers to feel at home as they come to a salon for relaxation,” added Shameena.
Services provided include hair cut and hair styling, hair spa, chemical treatments, hair colour, manicure, pedicure, nail art services, facials, clean-up, bridal and party make-up services.
“Keeping the festive season ahead in mind and people’s need to groom themselves, we have introduced various Puja special offers including 100 per cent cashback as redeemable coupons and combo packs for men and women,” added Shameena.
