A real estate fair that will allow potential property buyers an opportunity to enquire about multiple projects under the same roof will kick off at the South City Mall on Saturday.
The Anandabazar Patrika and The Telegraph Real Estate Fair 2023 will start at noon and continue till 8pm at the mall’s atrium over the weekend.
There will be eight real estate companies and one lender at the fair. Anyone looking to buy a new home will be able to compare and contrast various projects and also get details about home loan facilities, said an organiser.
Among those present at the fair will be Gems Group, Amratya Projects, Ideal Real Estates, Alcove New Kolkata, Rajwada Group, DTC Group, Atri, Ambuja and the State Bank of India (SBI).
This is the 7th edition of the fair.
“Potential buyers can interact with officials of the real estate companies, enquire about their projects, negotiate the price, and ask for visits. Besides, one will also get many renowned developers under one roof,” said an organiser.
Another organiser said that because of the overwhelming response in previous years, the fair is being held in same venue — South City — for the third time.
Actress Sauranseni Maitra will inaugurate the fair at noon on Saturday.
Driver arrested
An app cab driver, who allegedly snatched the phone of a passenger after picking a fight over dropping her 500m away from her destination, was arrested on Wednesday.
Police recovered the snatched phone.
