Radio jockey, TV show host and seasoned Bengali actor Mir Afsar Ali is ready to begin a new chapter of his life.
In a social media post on Wednesday, Mir announced that he has paired up with Tamil actor and director R. Madhavan for an upcoming web series for the online streaming platform Netflix.
In the social media post, Mir wrote how the offer for the series that he received in 2020 had become a ray of hope for him, a year otherwise marked by difficulties and anguish.
The web series Decoupled is directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Vikramaditya Motwane.
Other notable actors include Surveen Chawla.
The web series will be released on December 21.

Mir, known for his impeccable comic timing, started his career as a radio host. Later on, he went on to deliver many memorable performances in movies like Bhooter Bhabishyat, The Bong Connection and more.
