University exam dates
Presidency, Jadavpur and Calcutta Universities have rescheduled their exams that were to be held on Monday because of Cyclone Remal. All undergraduate and postgraduate exams at Presidency that were scheduled for Monday have been deferred to June 18, said an official. JU and CU will notify the new dates later.
Prize distribution
The Institute of Engineering and Management, Calcutta, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Salt Lake Silicon Valley and the SMART Society, US, organised the prize distribution for the International Olympiad on Tuesday last week. Participants from schools including Birla High, South Point and Garden High won prizes.
