The PGDBA programme focuses on building connections within the industry and gives students the scope to pursue a six-month-long corporate internship to help them build industry readiness.

The recruiters who participated in the placement process were divided into four categories — consulting, BFSI, Healthcare, Product and Services. The roles that were offered to the students included the positions of associate consultant, business analyst, data analyst, data engineer, and data scientist to HR analytics, marketing analytics, and quantitative research Intern.

There has also been a significant increase in the stipend offered to the students. The average monthly stipend has registered an increase of 7.6% over the last year, now standing at an amount greater than Rs 1.5 lakh. The top 25 per cent of the batch have received a stipend of more than Rs 2 lakh per month.

PGDBA chairperson, professor Samit Paul from IIM Calcutta, congratulated the students on the wonderful feat of 100% internship placement. “It’s a satisfying instance of collective effort leading to superior results. I would also like to thank the apex committee members, the placement committee members, placement office staff, faculty colleagues, administration, student representatives, student volunteers and all stakeholders at tri-institute level for their wonderful guidance and amazing cooperation,” he said.
