Star Wars: Tales From the Galaxy’s Edge

It will arrive exclusively on PlayStation VR2 in 2023. The latest from Lucasfilm’s ILMxLAB has been rebuilt for greater immersion using state-of-the-art virtual reality hardware. The experience will include headset-based controller tracking, eye tracking, rich 3D audio and haptics built into the PS VR2 Sense controller and headset. Tekken 8

Tekken 8 has a new trailer but not yet a release date. The trailer for the PlayStation 5 release appears like a pre-rendered cinematic, meaning it may not necessarily be a direct gameplay but game director Katsuhiro Harada has said that the clip has been taken directly from a work-in-progress version of Tekken 8’s story mode. “In the trailer, you can see this level of quality in the newly created playable character models that completely sets itself apart from the current Tekken 7, and in little details like how water droplets run down the character’s skin,” said Harada.

Hogwarts Legacy

Sony presented some exclusive content coming to Hogwarts Legacy on PlayStation 4 and 5. Players will be able to explore a shop in Hogsmeade, the town located near the Hogwarts campus, and play something that looks like a sequence from the 2005 horror game, Condemned: Criminal Origins. What we got to see is a Hogwarts student inquiring about purchasing a shop from Madam Mason, who warns of danger and how previous tenants had ran into issues.

God of War Ragnarok

The game now has one more trailer before the long-awaited sequel’s launch in November. Kratos is on the move for vengeance again; Atreus is keeping secrets from him; and everyone seems to have buckets full of moral contempt for what Kratos has done with his life. Santa Monica Studio also shared some peeks at new mystical realms that look otherworldly.

Rise of the Ronin

Sony and Koei Tecmo’s Team Ninja are partnering on a new game, Rise of the Ronin, which is set in the late 19th century. The combat focused open-world action RPG that takes place in Japan at a time of great change. The country is facing the darkest of times as it struggles with its oppressive rulers and deadly diseases while western influence permeates as civil war continues to rage between the Tokugawa Shogunate and the Anti-Shogunate factions

Like a Dragon: Ishin!

Yakuza’s 2014 spinoff game Ryu ga Gotoku Ishin is getting released outside of Japan with a full remake in Like a Dragon: Ishin. The game presents familiar and new characters to 1860s Kyo, a fictional version of Kyoto that explores the end of the samurai era. Yakuza protagonist Kazuma Kiryu takes on the role of Sakamoto Ryoma, a man proficient with swords, guns, and summoning a tiger to attack enemies.
