It’s been more than two years of the pandemic and Indian tourists have finally started travelling and dreaming of their next international trip. New research undertaken by YouGov and commissioned by Airbnb has found that almost three-quarters of Indians have plans to travel internationally in the foreseeable future and more than a third of those plan to do so in the next six months.

Further, more than 70 per cent of Indians are excited about being able to travel internationally. Once travelling begins, it will be a boost to the economy and Airbnb is focused on empowering its guest community to embrace the travel revolution. Amanpreet Bajaj, general manager of Airbnb India, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, said: “As border restrictions gradually ease across many countries in the region, we’re seeing a lot of enthusiasm for cross-border travel.”
