Alap and Shruti are back to solve the mystery revolving around an ancient curse in a new adventure of the hit series Tansener Tanpura, titled Rudrabinar Obhishaap.
The gripping Hoichoi series marks the return of Vikram Chatterjee and Rupsa Chatterjee as Alap and Shruti along with new members of the cast, Saurav Das and Ditipriya Roy. Rudrabinar Obhishaap streams from December 24 on Hoichoi.
Joydeep Mukherjee directs the show, with its grand visuals and builds the ambience of a thrilling mystery residing within stories of two fictional lands of India known for their Sangeet Pandits — Rudrapur and Anandagar.

To be a part of a show like Rudrabinar Obhishaap, whose previous franchise Tansener Tanpura has been such a massive hit, is already a humongous responsibility, felt Saurav Das. “I am too nervous as well as excited to be playing a character like Naad in Rudrabinar Obhishaap, which has so many layers to it. Naad is a character that has a negative shade and much more intrigue points that cannot be explained until and unless one sees it. I hope I have done justice to such an important character and also to a show whose previous installments have already gained such popularity among the audience.”
Commenting on the experience of her first web series, Ditipriya Roy noted, “Firsts are always special and to have a first like this is beyond special. It is a surreal moment for me as I am stepping into the world of web content with Hoichoi and a series like Rudrabinar Obhishaap.
