Chai Break, the popular hangout, opened doors to their new vegetarian café on Girish Park recently, the 28th outlet of the chain. Pocket-friendly yet delectable is the mantra here, catering to a large student population in the area. The interiors are fresh and modern with a colour palette of whites and greens and have minimalistic furniture. There’s a lot of natural light coming in through the huge windows and is dotted with cosy corners.

On the menu is pure vegetarian food. Pick from Indian, Chinese and continental. They are also serving a breakfast menu which includes Kolkata’s famous Sabzi Kachori and continental breakfast items too.

Kolkata style Sabzi Kachori from the breakfast menu, served with achaar. This one is a winner, for sure.

“Girish Park is dotted with coaching institutes for finance students. There are hardly any good cafes and hangouts in the near vicinity for families.
