The skin still feels dry and the fog accompanied by a cool breeze is back! Winter is still lurking around and it’s the best time to drop in at LMNO_Q to enjoy the view and their compact new winter menu. “Winter means lots of fresh produce in terms of vegetables and fruits and we definitely want our guests to experience them at LMNO_Q. This winter menu has millets that are rich in nutrients and help us keep warm and are easy to digest in winters. We introduced a traditional millet khichdi of Rajasthan in our menu as we have given a twist to makki roti with sarson saag. We haven’t forgotten our love for classic momos in winters,” said Raajiv Nathany, co-owner, LMNO_Q. There are some seasonal cocktails too. Here’s what we liked.

Raise your hand if you are a fan of chillas. Indulge in the simplicity of Pinwheel Chilla that is made with lentils and millets and filled with chopped onion, carrot, bell peppers and desiccated coconut. Dip into spicy garlic chutney and fresh coriander chutney while eating.

Ancient Millet Khichdi, an age-old traditional winter delicacy of Rajasthan, has found its way into the menu. Typically a winter dish, this slow-cooked millet and lentil khichdi is served with jaggery and saffron-flavoured tamarind juice that helps in digesting this heavy item. It is creamy in texture and so delicious.

Keeping in mind the city’s love for momos, there’s Hillside Momos in vegetarian and chicken options that come with a portion of hot momo soup. A portion has five pieces served with two sauces — one super spicy and another less fiery.
