Kolkata’s Dishan Ghosh and Aarav Tantia triumph at the Patna Junior Masters

The latest leg of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour took place at Patna Golf Club

The 2024 Patna Junior Masters witnessed a spectacular showcase of talent as young golfers from across the region converged at the Patna Golf Club for the third leg of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour between April 27 and 28. Among the standout performers were Kolkata’s Dishan Ghosh and Aarav Tantia, who emerged victorious in their respective categories, showcasing exceptional skill and determination on the course.

In the fiercely contested Category A&B Boys, Dishan Ghosh displayed remarkable composure and skill, securing victory with a total score of 158 over two rounds. His stellar performance not only earned him the winner’s title but also served as a testament to his promising talent in the world of junior golf.

Similarly, Aarav Tantia showcased his prowess in Category B Boys, delivering an impressive performance to claim victory with a score of 209. His dedication and focus were evident throughout the tournament as he navigated the challenging course with precision and confidence.

In Category C Boys, Vivaan Jawanpuria emerged triumphant with a score of 168, while Dhruv D. Patodia clinched victory in Category D Boys with a score of 201. Their achievements underscored the depth of talent present in the junior ranks of the IGU East Zone Feeder Tour.

On the girls’ side, Shristi Rani displayed exceptional skill and determination to claim victory in Category A Girls with a score of 159, while Bhavya Keshri secured the second position with a score of 200. In Category D Girls, Amaira Gulati emerged victorious with a score of 170, closely followed by Hissi Besra in the second position.

The tournament provided a platform for young golfers to showcase their talent and passion for the sport. The Patna Golf Club served as a fitting venue for the event, with its challenging course and picturesque surroundings adding to the excitement of the competition.The tour’s education partner is The Champ for Life Academy. The outdoor media partner is Balaji Ads, and the online pro-shop partner is Golfedge. Bisleri has come in as the water partner for this season. Keventer, Eastern India’s largest FMCG company, is the tour sponsor and provided players with juices and milkshakes. Additionally, Reliable Group is a sponsor. The tour is managed by Protouch Sports.
