The JK Tyre Car Rally in association with The Telegraph, presented by Bengal Rowing Club, was back this time with ‘Hercule Poirot Case Files’ as the theme. The event that has been going on for 25 years now, had a very exciting treasure hunt where teams were given clues to lead them to various notable places throughout the city.

The fun event also included scavenger hunt and fun activities. There were marshalls deployed at each spot to stamp the clue book given to the participants who took up the challenge to solve fictional cases of murder, theft, and forgery. “Overall, the JK Tyre Car Rally was a successful and memorable event, combining the thrill of a treasure hunt with the excitement of solving fictional cases. It provided participants with a unique opportunity to explore the city and test their detective skills, all while having fun and enjoying the camaraderie of the rally,” said Rohit Bihani, chairman, Entertainment Committee.

“We have been organising BRC JK Tyre Car Rally for 30 years and it continues to be a much-awaited event. This year, our theme was Hercule Poirot, the most loved detective character by Agatha Christie. Like every year, members came enthusiastically dressed up according to the theme or other themes of their choices. Each team came up with unique names and slogans. Teams even decorated their cars as they embarked on a fun-filled treasure hunt. We are happy that this year also, we could make this annual event successful and memorable for our members,” said Deepak Jalan, president, BRC.
