My KolkataIndustrialist Harshvardhan Neotia addressed the audience on the first day of the summit. "Our group is born and brought up in Kolkata. Today I want to speak about our recent foray into hospitality. Since last year, we wanted to bring the beautiful history of this land, archaeology, culture, flora and fauna of Bengal to the national map of tourism. With this, we set out to acquire properties in Bengal in partnership with the Taj group to manage these properties. We have five of these properties in Digha, Santiniketan, Darjeeling, Lataguri and Sunderbans. We hope in the next three to five years we will be able to create a comprehensive circuit from the rivers to the mountains, to the sea. to archaeological sites etc. The government here has been very supportive of tourism. I will urge everyone to look at Bengal from a tourism perspective. There are immense possibilities here," he said
