In his 60s, poet Jaladhi Halder describes himself as someone who is continuously surprised by the melody of words. He said, ‘I keep visiting Boi Mela in search of books that are difficult to find in College Street.’ Highlighting the significance of reading, he said, ‘Without books, a man stops growing, and starts losing one the greatest joys of life. Seeing youngsters visit such events is exciting’
