One of south Kolkata’s popular shopping destinations, Acropolis Mall has transformed into this ‘fairyland’ during Christmas, welcoming visitors with festive decor and ambience. The mall is also hosting a plethora of children’s activities as part of its grand carnival

The festive rush on Christmas Day was unmistakable as a continuous stream of people kept pouring into Acropolis Mall. With Ocean World at the centre of the mall and decorations all around, the ambience was a joyous one — in keeping with the spirit of the season

The mall also had its very own Santa, who was happy to click pictures with those who wanted a quick selfie. The bearded man in red distributed chocolates from his bag, bringing smiles to the faces of the little ones present there

While Simbaa Play Zone turned out to be a hit with the kids, there was even more excitement added to the holiday season with a special bouncy castle set up at the mall. A small trampoline was also there, giving children a chance to jump with joy

The Christmas Carnival at the mall kicked off with a fancy dress ramp walk on December 22. More than 100 children participated, showcasing their fanciest outfits. The standout costumes included that of Mother Mary, Spider-man, and an Indian Army soldier, all beautifully presented by the young participants. Hosted by Ryan the Lion, the event also featured entertaining activities, such as musical chairs, cones, and rings. Some parents even joined in, teaming up with their children to try and win the games

Even though Christmas is over, the festive spirit lingers with ongoing activities at the mall. Save the dates as Acropolis Mall has exciting plans in store for December 27 and 29. The Christmas Talent Contest, which is on December 27, to be hosted by Ryan the Lion, will showcase a variety of talents—singing, dancing, drawing and more. On December 29, young detectives can join the Christmas Scavenger Hunt, searching for hidden prizes at the mall. Additionally, the Fabulous Fitness Team Relay on Friday invites both children and parents to participate together. You can drop by at 4.30 pm on both days to witness and participate in the ongoing Christmas Carnival at Acropolis
