Prince Harry: Heartbreak

London, Feb. 20 (PTI): Britain?s Prince Harry has parted ways with his party-loving girlfriend Chelsy Davy in a long-distance telephone call.

The prince, 20, is said to have told Chelsy he was ending their romance ? which had even sparked rumours of marriage plans ? blaming pressure from his family, a media report said today

He told her: ?We?ve had a great time together but now I?m under a lot of family pressure. I don?t think we can see each other again. I?m sorry, it?s time to move on,? friends were quoted by The Mail on Sunday as saying.

Devastated Chelsy, 19, has confided that she is writing to Prince Charles to plead to be allowed to see Harry one last time.

Friends say Zimbabwean Chelsy has turned to drink as she tries to cope with Harry?s rejection. ?She doesn?t care about anything except hearing from Harry. Her eyes are red from crying. She?s sitting by the phone just hoping he?ll call,? the newspaper said.

?We?ve told her to forget Harry and get a life but she?s obsessed with trying to get him back.?

Harry called Chelsy last week to discuss his father?s plans to marry Camilla Parker Bowles. According to Chelsy?s friends in South Africa, he said: ?There?s a real crisis in my life. I can?t give you any commitment at all.?

Chelsy has also written to Prince William pleading her case as a suitable girlfriend.
