Jamshedpur, Jan. 3: The magic of Baba Ramdev seems to have gripped the district administration, quite literally.

In an attempt to reduce stress for the policemen, the administration has arranged yoga camp after Shambhu Oraon committed suicide with his service rifle at police line in West Singhbhum.

Oraon committed suicide on the premises of the police line on December 27.

According to superintendent of police, West Singhbhum, Sudhir Kumar Jha, the camp would be compulsory for the constables, staying at the police line. “We have decided to appoint a yoga instructor. The constables would be able to release mental pressure and overcome personal problems after attending daily yoga exercises,” he said.

At present, the constables take part in a routine morning exercise to keep in shape.

On condition of anonymity, a constable said most of his colleagues are suffering from depression due to the nature of the jobs and finds no use of yoga camps.
