Ranchi, Dec. 30: She claims to unfold your raaz pichle janam ka, but sans the razzmatazz of the popular TV show.
Soheli Biswas, full-time past life regression therapist, was in Ranchi last week after 16 years, to hold therapeutic workshops. And she claims to solve problems, ranging from unexplained phobias and mental ailments to physical illness, all by going into a person’s past life.
“Yes, revisiting your past life holds the key to a better future,” says Soheli.
An interior designer, Biswas became a therapist because, as she herself says, she was “dogged by loneliness”. “I tried self-help books, spirituality, et al, but nothing helped. Someone suggested I try out past life therapy,” she said.
Since there weren’t such therapists in Kerala, she got in touch with Newton Kondaveti, a past life regression therapist with a centre in Hyderabad. That was six years ago.
“That was my first tryst with the past,” Soheli said. It helped her so much that she decided to learn it well enough from her mentor to practise it.
In the past 18 months, Soheli has helped over 200 people across India. What brought her to Ranchi? “I hailed from here before shifting to Kolkata with parents,” she said.
She also believes medical science, despite its achievements, has limitations. “It can heal the body but not the soul. That’s where past life regression can holistically address problems,” she said.
