Repair, project hit trains

Train services were disrupted on Friday and will remain affected for the next three days in Adra and Chakradharpur divisions owing to repairs of the signalling apparatus and installation of the third line between Gamharia and Sini.

According to a circular issued by SER headquarters, Asansol-Tatanagar Express and Adra-Barabhum MEMU Passenger were cancelled on Friday. While Kharagpur-Hatia Passenger (Up) was short-terminated at Adra, the Down train leaving Hatia plied till Muri. Jhargram-Purulia Express was short-terminated at Barabhum.

Kharagpur-Hatia Passenger (Up) will be short-terminated again on Saturday, while the Down train will follow the similar pattern on Sunday.

These apart, Danapur-Tatanagar Express left Danapur at 8am on Friday instead of 6am. Tatanagar-Dhanbad Subernarekha Express departed from Tatanagar at 3.50pm instead of 1.20pm.

Tatanagar-Hatia Passenger, which ran via Chandil-Gonda and Muri on Friday, will take the same diverted route on Sunday.

On Saturday, Tata-Gua Passenger will be cancelled, while Howrah-Barbil Janshatabdi Express, Howrah-Titlagarh Ispat Superfast Express and Howrah-Pune Duronto Express will ply on diverted routes.

Further, the Barbil-Tata Passenger will be short-terminated at Rajkharsawan.
