Dhanbad, June 27: Students wishing to appear for the IIT-JEE examination next year should start their preparations from today with full dedication. This was a piece of advice from none other than IIT-JEE toppers Jithendar Reddy and Uday K. Shah, who were at Dhanbad today to give valuable tips to those aiming to take arguably the country’s toughest examination.
Placed first and second in IIT-JEE respectively, Jithendar and Uday said total concentration without deviation was the key to cracking the examinations. The students must also finish their chapters long before the examinations to have ample time for revision on hands. They added that students should be free to clarify their problems without hesitation.
The duo asked the students to remain cool and think twice before attempting an answer. They said with proper time management, cracking the examination could be a cakewalk. However, those wishing to crack this examination must brush up on their concepts, especially those of physics and mathematics as mugging answers lead to waste of precious time. The session was attended by hundreds of students of Dhanbad aspiring to get into IIT.
Jithendar and Uday both aim to take admission in IIT Mumbai. While Jithendar will opt for electrical as his subject, Uday wants to take up computer science.
Interestingly both toppers, hailing from Andhra Pradesh stated that physics was their favourite subject. They gave credit to their parents, alma mater and teachers for their success. IIT was their childhood dream and they proved their worth by cracking it.
