Ranchi is gearing up to ensure hassle-free arrivals for all the guests who will come to the capital for the two-day Global Investors' Summit at Hotwar mega sports complex from February 16.

From airport officials, railway personnel and bus owners, all are ready to ensure that investors do not face any trouble while arriving in the city.

Airport director Anil Vikram said that all non-scheduled flights would be accommodated at Birsa Munda Airport in capital Ranchi for the convenience of the guests who would come from across the globe. "We have also decided to set up a help desk at the airport to address queries of the visitors," he told The Telegraph.

The airport director, however, did not give further information, saying "it is difficult to discuss more in the matter."

As far as trains are concerned, railway officials of Ranchi division said that they would do the needful to help confirm tickets of the guests. "We are also planning to set up help desks at Ranchi and Hatia stations. Though so far we have not received any directive from the office of divisional railway manager's office, we are ready from our side," said senior divisional commercial manager Neeraj Kumar.

Bus owners are also gearing up to make proper arrangements to welcome the investors. "We have a meeting tomorrow (Monday) where we will take decisions to ensure safe arrival of the guests. We are contemplating to set up help desks at different bus stands in the city," said president of Jharkhand Bus Owners Association Krishna Mohan Singh.

Plans have been also made to spare some buses for the summit guests to take them for a city tour or to bring them to the venue from hotels, airports or stations. "Well-mannered drivers and conductors will be provided in buses that will be used for summit purpose. Though formal decision will be taken tomorrow (Monday), we are ready to provide the services," Singh added.
