New Delhi, Jan. 15 (PTI): Army chief Gen. V.K. Singh today said he had “no clue” about any early resolution to the row over his age, but appreciated the confidence defence minister A.K. Antony had expressed in his leadership abilities.

“I have got no clue. I am working as I am,” he said on the sidelines of the Army Day parade, asked whether he expected the row to be resolved soon.

Singh said he did not want to give any spin or “any more wings” to the row as his comments might be misinterpreted. “Why do you want clarity? “I have said this is an issue that should be allowed to rest and not become a public debate. So there is no requirement to give it any spin, or to give it any more wings than what it actually is.”
