A multi-storey building collapsed due to a landslide triggered by heavy rain in Shimla on Thursday evening.

No casualties have been reported so far, state disaster management director Sudesh Kumar Mokhta said.

The incident took place at Ghoda Chowki near Hali Palace in Shimla at 5.45pm.

A video doing the rounds on social media showed the house in a congested area collapsing into a heap of rubble as some people watched from a rooftop nearby.
